Seattle, Wash. – February 02, 2017 – Today, angelMD announced it conducted a highly successful startup pitch event just prior to the 13th Annual Mazama Spine Summit at Sun Mountain Lodge in northern Washington State. The event featured nationally recognized spine surgeons and an elite selection of med-tech startups presenting their technology innovations in friendly competition style format. The Mazama Spine Summit was founded and is hosted by noted neurosurgeon Richard Wohns, MD, JD, MBA.
“This was the perfect way to get everyone focused on innovation in advance of the meeting. This is a special conference attended by some of the most innovative and inquisitive surgeons in spine,” stated Dr. Richard Wohns, who also serves Chief Medical Officer for angelMD.
Following the pitch event, the entrepreneurs participated in a fire-side chat moderated by angelMD. Attendees were given an opportunity to dig deeper into the technologies at the heart of each company and explore the kind of assistance needed to achieve the next milestone.
